Collection of data with minimal pressure loss in flowing wells

Posted by Peak Well Systems on 13-Sep-2016 12:30:00

If you are like Peak's Customers, you require a variety of Gauge Hangers - from simple, effective Plug Hangers that carry downhole gauges for well monitoring, to Gauge Hangers for larger tubing or more complex well geometries.

Peak offers its Customers a choice best fitting the application and well structure. We offer a range of slickline-set gauge hangers which can be used to suspend data acquisition devices for monitoring characteristics in flowing wells, or as an anchor for instruments that require suspension in the wellbore. Due to the flexibility of the SIM System, these devices can be suspended anywhere in the well.

Peak’s Gauge Hangers offer the advantage of having a robust design and build, ideal for challenging downhole environments and in high flow rate wells, which means they can be confidently placed close to perforating zones.

Peak's gauge hangers have been put to the test - our Large Bore Gauge Hanger and SIM Running Tool were used to collect valuable data with minimal pressure loss in six flowing wells for a National Oil Company in Malaysia. Read on to find out more:
